Crimson Hotel is one of the luxury hotels in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. It is strategically located near Festival Mall, just around a 5-minute walk. So if you want to buy something or you just simply want to stroll or find a place to eat, it’s not so much of a hassle. You can also go to Starmall by foot, and Alabang Town Center is just a jeepney ride away.
The standard check-in time in Crimson Hotel is 3:00 pm, and their check-out time in 12:00 pm. Although I know their check-in time is at 3pm, we arrived at the hotel around 12:30 pm. To my surprise, they allowed us to have an early check-in since it’s a weekday and there are unoccupied rooms. The next day, I called to the front desk and asked if we can have a late check-out, they gave us until 1pm to check-out. Not bad. That’s one thing I loved here in Crimson Hotel.
There's a parking area for guests at the third level of the building. In-house guests can get a complimentary parking coupon at the concierge. However, only 1 car per room is allowed. The hotel lobby is spacious, with a lot of tables and chairs where you can sit while waiting. If we weren’t allowed to have an early check-in, I think I should’ve enjoyed working on my laptop in the lobby. The hallway going to the room is clean and well lit.
I booked a Deluxe Double Room which is the cheapest room in Crimson Hotel Alabang. The room has two single beds – each has two rectangular pillows and one bolster pillow. The room is not so spacious but it has the basic things. There’s a television with a lot of channels for kids, a safety deposit box, telephone, iron, ad coffee and tea making facilities. Sounds like something’s missing? Yeah, that’s right. There’s no mini refrigerator inside the room. The complimentary water is very small too.
For the toilet and bath, it has a complete set of towels and the consumable toiletries – soap, shampoo, bath gel, lotion, shaving kit, and dental kit. The toilet has a bidet and the shower room is separated with a glass wall. It is half open though since there is no door, that’s why the water may scatter to the other side. The bathroom doesn’t come with a bath tub, but that’s not a big deal for us.
As usual, I need an internet connection to work even we’re having staycation. Upon check-in, they gave us a small paper with the wifi password which is good for as many devices you have. Once connected, you’ll be able to use the internet not only inside the room, but on other areas of the hotel too. What’s the internet speed, you ask? The average is 4.7 mbps when I run the speedtest. Not really fast compared to other hotels in Alabang, but that’s good enough to browse and finish some work.
Whenever I book an accommodation, I see to it that there must be a swimming pool so that Wyatt Maktrav can enjoy. Crimson Hotel has a swimming pool located at the eighth level and it’s divided into two – 2 ft and the other one is 4 ft deep. There are benches to sit and lie down near the swimming pool. If you want to sweat out, you can go to the fully equipped fitness gym which is also located at the eighth level.
There are different dining options in Crimson Hotel. The Lobby Lounge has cake and pastries, the Deck Bar at the swimming area has snacks, Cafe Eight Restaurant, and you may also order food for in-room dining. Our room booking comes with a buffet breakfast at Cafe Eight Restaurant. I didn’t expect too much on the food that’s why I was so surprised to see a lot of food selection. They have pastries, rice, many viands to choose from, salad station, egg station, sushi station, and more! The food tastes great too. Wyatt ordered one big donut from the Lobby Lounge and he finished it all. So I guess, it’s delicious as well.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Crimson Hotel Alabang. The early check-in and late check-out is a big factor, plus the awesome breakfast. Aside from that, it is worthy to note that the staffs are commendable. When Wyatt spilled some crumbs at the floor, I requested for a vacuum and they immediately clean it. I requested for an extra towel and an extra chair, and they brought it too. When we’re already at our house, I realized that I left my cellphone charger at the hotel. I called and they said it’s on their lost and found. Wow, that’s even more awesome! We highly recommend Crimson Hotel as one of the best accommodations in Alabang.
